A conference in the Forth Suite

The Kings Manor Hotel offers some of the most acclaimed conference facilities in Edinburgh and has been a popular venue for meetings and conferences for over 25 years. Although capable of accommodating events with up to 140 delegates, the Kings Manor specialises in the smaller meetings and training courses for around 30-40 delegates. In the past year the Kings Manor has hosted over 600 of these events. Flexibility and professionalism are our watchwords.

Whilst most of our clients book one of our comprehensive range of packages we are happy to work out an à la carte package for your exact needs. We know that even the best-planned event can run late or a speaker stop short, meaning that you need lunch put back or forward by 30 minutes. We always try to ensure that we work to your schedule and not make you work to ours.

Flexibility of Rooms and Conference Facilities in Edinburgh

Some of our rooms have inbuilt flexibility in that they are capable of being divided by movable acoustic walls. It is our range of rooms that ensures our flexibility, from our Forth suite that can hold 140 delegates to our seminar rooms for discussion groups of 4 or 5, we have a room that will suit the number of delegates attending and a layout that will help facilitate the work to be done.

Audiovisual equipment is available

Most standard audiovisual equipment is held on site including Digital Projectors, Laptops, Screens, Flipcharts and Overhead Projectors. All meeting rooms offer internet connections via Wireless Broadband connections. Should your equipment requirement be more specialized we can obtain most equipment given 48hours notice.

Professionalism

As our conference team each has over 20 years experience in the conference field there is very little that you could require that at least one of the team has not encountered before. While it is important that you can have confidence that the Kings Manor can handle any unusual requirements that you may have, it is even more important that we keep an eye on the basics. Tea breaks should be available on time, Temperatures of meeting rooms should be neither too hot nor too cold, menus should be planned so that they will not spoil if you are delayed, equipment should work, and if anything goes wrong a replacement should be available – immediately. This can be summed up as - professionalism.

Room hire

Room hire rates for conference rooms (when not part of a package). These rates include set up of tables and chairs as required but no equipment or catering. Evening and weekend room hires may be available at a discounted rate.
